Remembrance Day 2020

In response to the recent announcement and advice from Government, local risk assessments and the rising number of Covid-19 cases both nationally and locally the format of this years Remembrance parade has been reviewed. The Chairman of Welwyn Parish Council, Councillor Marj Otty, will be laying a wreath in Remembrance at a private ceremony which will pre-recorded and be available to view on our website and Facebook page on Sunday 8th November 2020 from 3pm.

This decision has not been taken lightly but to comply with Government guidance and protect residents and the wider community of Welwyn Parish.
