Open Spaces Reports

Play Areas:

Every week our Head Groundsman checks both play areas for signs of damage or wear and tear. As part of this check any debris such as glass or litter is removed and animal mess is cleared from equipment.

Annually, the play areas are inspected by an external contractor and a report issued. This is reviewed by council and appropriate works then scheduled.

Trees in our Open Spaces: 

Every 3 years the council contracts a local company to carry out a full tree survey of all the trees that the council has responsibility for. 

Recommendations from the report are reviewed by Council and appropriate works undertaken.
