Welwyn Parish Council have been closely following the progress of the application submitted by Welwyn Planning and Amenity Group that would see Singlers Marsh registered as a Village Green. With no conclusion thus far, the Council resolved to write to the land owner’s, Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, in support of the application and to ask for clarification of the rationale behind the boroughs objection.
