The Whitehill Centre
The Whitehill Centre is located at the top of Ottway Walk and benefits from it’s own car park as well as easy access (via steps) from a second car park located just off Whitehill.
It is within walking distance of both play areas, recreation grounds and Welwyn Village.
The centre has recently been refurbished and has a good sized kitchen which is shared between the two halls, a cloakroom, ballet bars in the large hall as well as free WIFI for hirers.
There are two separate halls that can be hired individually or as a whole, best suited for:
- Recreational activities (exercise classes/dance classes)
- Receptions/functions
- Group meetings
- Children’s Parties (including space for a bouncy castle in the large hall)
Space comprises:
- Larger Hall (15m x 7.5m) – capacity of 60
- Smaller Hall (7.5m x 7.5m) – capacity of 20
- Kitchen equipped with double electric oven, microwave, kettle, urn, crockery, cutlery, glasses and water jugs
- Cloakroom with baby change unit
There is a small amount of parking in front of the Whitehill Centre (approx 10 to 20 cars) but much more parking available at the Whitehill car park (closest but with access up steps) or at the Ottway Walk car park as shown on the map below. All car parks are free.
